The all new Vivo Xplay6 has been announced and is slated for release in December of 2016. We will take a peek at some of the features of this interesting smartphone. Comparing the Xplay6 to the prior version from Vivo, the xplay5 elite, you will find that this one has a slightly bigger screen display, it also sports a bigger battery and a significantly improved camera with 16 MP.
The new Xplay6 will also have a physical home button to press which many will like more than what the xplay5 offered. The Vivo Xplay6 smartphone will have a non-removable Li-Ion 4080 mAh battery which is supposed to be very fast charging and long lasting. The smartphone will come in 2 choices of color, Gold and Rose Gold.

For sensors you will find fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass…..and for messaging the Vivo Xplay6 will offer SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email. It will come with vibration; MP3, and WAV ringtones as alert types, along with a loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack. Audio is 32-bit/192kHz with active noise cancellation and dedicated mic.
There is no card slot on the Vivo Xplay6 but it does have 128 GB of internal memory and it comes pre-loaded with Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow). The capacitive touchscreen is Super AMOLED with 16M colors and the smartphone is 5.46 inches in size with a 72.6% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels (538 ppi pixel density), and it does comes with multi-touch abilities.
The smartphone measures 6.06 x 2.90 x 0.33 inches in size and weighs about 6.28 ounces. The Vivo Xplay6 is slated for release on December 12th. The price point appears to be in the $500-550 range. For reviews on many other new smartphones, check out our Smartphone Home Page here
