The Samsung Galaxy View2 was released in April of 2019. This is a 17.3″ Android Tablet. The view screen is touchscreen with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920, full HD. It is 16.42 x 10.37 x 0.68 inches in size and weighs just under 5 pounds. It has Nano-SIM with a built-in kickstand. The display is IPS LCD with a capacitive touchscreen, in 16M colors.
It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a Chipset Exynos 7884. The Samsung Galaxy View2 has a CPU of the Octa-core (2×1.6 GHz & 6×1.6 GHz). It has a microSD, up to 400 GB (dedicated slot). The internal storage is 64 GB, 3 GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy View2 has a selfie camera on the front that operates at 5 MP with Video produced at 2160p @ 30fps. It has a Non-removable Li-Po 12000 mAh battery and comes in Dark Grey. It costs about $750 roughly. It can be purchased through AT&T or from Samsung directly.
The stand is permanently attached and kicks out at the back. It comes with a carrying case also made by It Fit, but it may not fit properly into that case from what we have seen on the internet. It is not the most portable device to carry around. It has very loud speakers on this device.
The tablet comes with a lot of pre-installed AT&T applications as well as many other pre-installed apps. The device is geared towards watching Direct TV from AT&T. You can set YouTube as your default viewing application. This is not really a gaming device but you could play some lower powered games. It’s mostly geared for media viewing. All in all this is a decent and unique device, but quite large and not that portable. But if you are looking for a decent large screen tablet for viewing media, the Samsung Galaxy View2 may be the answer for you.
