In this article we give a quick review of some of the better smartphone cameras on the market !
Smartphone cameras have improved significantly the past couple of years, each of the major smartphone models have impressive credentials when it comes to their cameras.
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge from Samsung, come with a 12 MP camera, instead of the 16 MP one that was on last year’s model, but having individual pixels, with a larger size, and a new technology that allows it to focus faster for photos. Otherwise, the overall configuration is really amazing. Last year, the Galaxy S6 set a new standard for cameras on smartphones, and even if the new Galaxy S7 had a less sensational release, having not much to bring as novelty, in addition to the above standard set by S6, it’s a phone that gives you guaranteed success for Instagram and social media pictures.
The Galaxy S7 specifications are quite interesting.
The Galaxy S7 Edge specifications are also worth noting.
The G4 is a model not to be ignored, even if LG released the newer G5 model this year. The LG G4 has a 5.5-inch LCD IPS screen, QuadHD resolution, with higher brightness and a better color rendering. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, a hexacore, sharing the computing power like this: two cores are at 1,8GHZ and the other four cores work at 1.4GHz.
The LG G4 has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, but unlike other models, you can extend its capacity by a microSD card, up to 128GB. The camera has 16 megapixels, and it’s one of the best ones on the market, even though it was topped by other models, on smartphones somewhat newer.
The LG G4 specifications are quite interesting.
Just like the small differences between Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7, iPhone 6 when compared to iPhone 6s, these phones are not light years away from each other in terms of performance. The camera is certainly one of the biggest improvements. The camera on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was good enough for you that you didn’t need to have with you a dedicated photo camera. However, the camera on the new model is even better, having 12 megapixels and video recording at 4K resolution.
The iPhone 6S specifications are worth reviewing.
Huawei P8 has a 13 MP main camera and a secondary 8MP for taking selfies, good enough to post on Facebook and other social media. The main cam is the important one, especially for the stabilization. Yes, it works very well, you’ll be getting very interesting pictures, even by night, but you will need a tripod. No matter how well it would stabilize the image, when you subtract the exposure time to a second, the movement will be seen on the final image you’ll get.
The Huawei P8 specifications stack up nicely compared to other smartphones.
The 16 MP camera is undoubtedly the strong point of the phone. My view on it, is that LG V10 is probably the best device on the market for photo enthusiasts. Even in auto mode, the images captured by this phone get details that other devices probably would not capture, also focus seems to be extremely fast. Performance is almost as good at night too, and the application is among the most well made that you will encounter on smartphones.
And if you are among photo enthusiasts, and want to get the best results from the photo sensor, then you’ll be happy to know that LG V10 allows you to tamper with white balance, ISO sensitivity, depth of field and photo shutter speed.
The LG V10 specifications are very unique.
Overall each phone camera has it’s pros and cons, so take your time in deciding which of these great smartphone cameras is best suited for your tastes !
