This year LG intends to amaze people at IFA with a series of revolutionary gadgets. We are talking about their TVs to begin with, although the term is too modest for the appliances brought in by the South-Koreans.
Ultra HD television generation with 4K innovation prides itself with an incredible image quality with vivid colours and clarity regardless the position of the viewer, feats which could be tested by IFA Berlin’s visitors.
LG went even further with their innovations, presenting the first curved television – LG Curved OLED TV. But that is not everything, they also came up with an intelligent TV including webOS – an extremely simple user interface, starting from its setting mode up to the experience the viewer has while watching a movie or a TV programme, accompanied by a menu which offers all information required instantly, allowing the user to keep watching their favourite show.
Furthermore, for those who are bored of two dimensional displays, the 3D TVs from LG promise an experience similar to the one from a cinema, especially because the 3D technology is combined with UltraHD.
In terms of mobile gadgets LG has also presented some revolutionary products at IFA Berlin 2014; as it was assumed from the company which won the “Most Innovative Device Manufacturer of the Year” at Global Mobile Awards. Amongst those devices is the LG G3 smartphone which has a first-rate screen with a 2K resolution – way above the FullHD technology.
Yet as the phone sits comfortable in one’s pocket, most of the info a user requires is displayed on their watch. The South-Koreans have shown the round LG G watch R – R with this occasion. In an age where most all watches have corners, they have designed a round one which can easily be categorised as one of the best smartwatches at IFA Berlin 2014. It connects with the phone by Bluetooth and it can be used for Google searches, voice commands, internet navigation, social updates, weather checks and navigation as well as monitoring the user’s heart rate. Not only is this watch a smart gadget but it also looks good.
As for the tablets LG has come up with the G Pad, one of the most powerful devices on the market to date. It weighs 388g which is about half an iPad’s 2 weight, it has an 8.3 inch screen and it includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip with a quad-core processor tuned at 1.7 GHz and a 2GB RAM. Its storage space is 16GB, the cameras are 5MP and respectively 1.3MP and it works with the Android 4.2. Jelly Bean OS.
Smart watches and not only available for adults but for children also! LG had launched the watch with one button and no display LG Kiz On. After putting it on, parents will know exactly their children’s whereabouts and will also be able to call them. Besides , their number is the only way to communicate with the watches.
Another novelty from LG is the safety system Knock Code, which allows over 80.000 simple and unique combinations. The system was included in this year’s LG phone updates and it is seen as one of the safest ways to unlock the phone.
