HTC has scheduled the HTC Desire 12+ for release in May of 2018. We are going to take a look at some of the pros and cons of this newest smartphone from HTC. It should be selling for about $310, which is actually cheaper than the HTC 11 which was the prior release.
This smartphone runs on GSM / HSPA / LTE network technology. The speeds are: HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps. It is 158.2 x 76.6 x 8.4 mm (6.23 x 3.02 x 0.33 inches) in size and weighs 5.57 ounces. The display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with 16M colors.
The HTC Desire 12+ is quite a bit like the Desire 12, however there are some differences. It has the same 6-inch IPS LCD display along with the identical 720 x 1440 resolution. It contains 3GB of RAM but less than 32GB of native storage.
Probably the best feature of the bigger device is it’s dual rear camera. The camera adds a 2MP depth-sensing camera to the regular 13MP f/2.2 unit. This allows you to take portraits with a shallow depth of field. The front camera has 8MP and an f/2.0 aperture for better low-light selfies.
The smartphone has a high screen-to-body ratio (76.54 %), but a Low pixel density screen (268 ppi). The camcorder features 1920×1080 (1080p HD), and allows picture-taking during video recording, Video calling and also Video sharing. It has High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) also.
The chipset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SDM450. It allows up to 2,000 GB of storage expansion. The connectivity is Bluetooth 4.2, it has USB 2.0 with microUSB for mass storage, and it has turn-by-turn navigation with voice navigation.
