No rumors anymore. We have confirmation that Galaxy S6 allows you to uninstall any unwanted applications but … it is not an entire uninstall, but only the classic disable of unwanted apps that can be performed on all phones since Android 4.
And since you can get rid of them, what is the problem, you’ll say. Once you disable all the programs that Samsung imposes you, and even applications within the core of the operating system such as Google Play and Google Plus, what you get is the cleanest Android OS on the market, right? Mission accomplished!
Well, yes, all good and well BUT, disabling an application in Android implies a major difference from the actual uninstall. Namely, the application is no longer visible, you don’t get tired of receiving notifications like before, but the app is still present on the phone and takes storage space. If we put this thing together with what we know about Galaxy S6, that it has no slot for external memory card, we can actually see what the real problem here is.
A Galaxy S6 comes with no less than 56 preinstalled applications, which for the 32 GB version means that you remain with just 24 GB available. Which can’t be extended. Because you can’t install a memory card.
