Apple had a big event on September 12th, and they released information on three of its latest iPhones. The iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR. These smartphones all have edge-to-edge screen displays. They all run on the powerful A12 chip. They will be available at most locations as of September 14th.
These iPhones will be replacing the iPhone X. They start at $749, $999 and $1,099, and the prices adjust based upon your specifications that are selected. The main difference in the XR and the XS iPhones is in the material. The XR is made out of aluminum as opposed to stainless steel.

The screen is a little less quality, being LCD instead of OLED. The OLED allows the screen to curve around the edges, so the XR will not have that look if you inspect it closely by the corners. The XS Max offers a bigger display screen than the other 2 new iPhones.
Apple in the past tried a cheaper iPhone, with the iPhone SE and iPhone 5C. Their designs were quite different than the main iPhones and they did not last long. On this occasion with their latest iPhones, the cheaper iPhone XR has the same basic design and many other features as the top line iPhones. The XR has a single lense on the back for it’s camera as opposed to a dual lense for the XS iPhones.
With these latest iPhones for 2018, Apple is hoping to see good results from buyers, and possibly enough to push past Chinese manufacturer Huawei for 2nd place behind Samsung as the world’s # 1 smartphone maker.
