Devices based on this OS can not do many things in addition to what they were doing last year, but the next major update wants to change this fact.
Since August 2015, Android Wear watches will be more interactive and social, following the example of Apple. Google promises that watches will now be interactive. There will be the option to change their visual appearance, to access certain applications, add items on the clock and more.
Developers will have access to new tools for development, whose functions will be accessible with a new gesture: classic touch of display surface, which until now was dedicated to “launcher” function. To open the application drawer after the new update, will be required a sliding from right to left.
Like Apple Watch which provides the ability to send drawings and vibration via a dedicated social app, Android Wear will receive a new “messenger” who will be able to send text, emoji icons, stickers and own drawings. It will be called “Together” and will be integrated into one of the interface models for their watches. If this app will be available outside this interface, it is not clear yet.
